Charity

The Vero Beach Quilt Guild is dedicated to helping our community in various ways. Along with donating a portion of the Biennial Quilt Show proceeds to a chosen charity, our members donate their time and materials to make hand-made items for a variety of local organizations. Those organizations include the Sheriff's Department, homeless and family crisis centers, and various health organizations.

If you know of, or are a part of, a charitable organization that would make use of these items, please fill out the form below.

Quilts

Quilts provide physical warmth and emotional security for those in the midst of change and hardship. Our members make a wide range of sizes, color schemes, and types of quilts that are donated to local shelters, medical centers, and other organizations.

Fidget Quilts

Fidget quilts are small lap sized quilts that incorporate different textures, sounds, and tasks to keep hands busy. They are generally used for people with autism, Alzheimer's, or dementia, but can be used for small children and people with other cognitive and dexterity difficulties.

Placemats

We partner with Meals on Wheels and other soup kitchens to supply them with placemats, so the patrons have a nice place to eat their meals.

Know of a charity that could use quilts, placemats, or fidget quilts? Fill out this form so we can get in touch with them.
